2 embryos,, waiting on my blood work

Hello everyone!  Here i am working a night shift in the NICU again.... when last i posted, i was waiting to walk accross the street and get my own little embryos out of their incubater and into me... my hubby and i have been trying to get preggers about a year and a half, and have tried about everything up till now, and this is my first (and hopefully last) IVF cycle... so my little embies (Petrie 1 and Petrie 2 ) are the survivors of the bunch.... was hoping for more for the future,, but God is in control!  (and i talked to a coworker that was pregnant naturally after delivering 1 IVF baby,, so who knows :) 

so on Wednesday morning i had my 2 (2 day old) fresh embryos transfered to my uterus,, it was so cool to see them growing,(one was 2 beautiful cells and one was split already to 3), they flashed their picture up on a big screen (and of course we took a picture of that) and then in they went,, we thought,, ha,, they stuck in the transfer catheter,,, and had to be checked (they were still beautiful) and re transfered,, i had a little talk with them that time,, and in they went :) My doctor said that it might be red head boys,, i guess they've had 2 mom's that happened to and they ended up with red head boys,, ha ha .. i did look up on fertility sites, and apparently that isn't so unusual for them to stay in the catheter the first time around,, that's why they recheck under microscope and see.. in fact some think it's good cause it means they're sticky :)  so waiting and waiting,, i should get my blood test on NOV. 8th,,, yay!  Please dear Jesus! 
  they gave us the souvenir little container they were in with our last name in it,, so that meant daddy got to hold their first "cradle" :)    
  So keep on praying,, I'm so hoping this works, and i gotta have faith....

::smothers her in sticky baby dust:: I can't wait to hear the good news on the 8th. You will have such an interesting story to tell your baby(babies?) when they are older about how much you wanted them and the interesting way you came about to have them.

Thanks Maryn and PrettyPixie :) I sure will have an interesting story.. got it documented on video and everything,, from the injections down to the day i was acting like a chicken going in to lay her eggs (egg retrieval day - i'm such a goof ball :)  to holding half their DNA in daddy's cup (again,, i'm such a goofball ! ) to their lives at Day 2 of cell division!  Dear God please let this work!
