HockeyBabe---- How ya doing???
Baby is still hanging in there. I've been having contractions on and off the past several days, but not leading to anything. I have my 40 week doc appt tomorrow and they also scheduled an ultrasound.....so I guess well see if anything comes about that. Also, a little TMI, but I've been having to go number 2 alot the last 2 days, so maybe my body is cleaning itself out getting ready to go into labor. But honestly at this point, I don't have my hopes set up to have this baby anytime soon.
Dang it! ! ! I've been thinking about you all weekend even between every argument, cat fight I've had with my husband, I've sat back and thought "hmmm I wonder if she's popped yet?" HA ha ha
I'm going to the bathroom a bunch too, but I'm still not having any contractions. But, her movements have slowed down tremendously. The doc told me last Thursday that it's because there really isn't much room in there for her anymore. She's so squished and can't really move much. She's still punching bladder and moves when I eat a bunch, but the massive moving has pretty much slowed down to half of what it was a couple of weeks ago.
She's way head down, like they had to go all the way down to my pubic line with u/s wand to get her head measurements. So, she's ready, and if there was a medical reason to take her earlier they would. But, alas, they want her to stay there until 1 November.
Plus, my mother would have a fit if I went early and she couldn't get here. So, I'm still on super restricted activity, and can't do anything. The prednisone is working for my platelet counts so that's the main reason I have to keep her in there until the 1st so my numbers don't drop and can still have the spinal block.

The waiting part is the worst! I've had so many contractions the last few days that I'm already getting sick of feeling like "is this it" and I KNOW it could all go on for several more weeks (my first was a week late). Ugh! Interesting that you mention the extra bathroom trips, I've been noticing this the last few days too. Hmmm?
