Sooo is this normal???   For the past couple of weeks I have been having lots of pain when it comes to standing up or walking for a long period of time. And I have to sit down slowly! No more plopping down!   Its like a grinding pain/pressure on my pelvic area. I can't stand long in church anymore, or even going to walmart hurts my back/pelvis.  I am hoping this means he is turning into his correct position! I have my next 3D ultrasound next tuesday so I will see for sure! I am 8 1/2 months pregnant so I am gonna assume this is it! YAY!!

Anybody else have this pain towards the end? Tell me I'm not losing it!

Oh one more question!!!!   I don't think I have had any Braxton Hicks yet. Is this something that every pregnant lady is supposed to get?

K thanks!  :)

It's perfectly normal to feel a lot of pressure in your pelvic during pregnancy as baby is growing and getting bigger and putting more pressure down there. It's also not uncommon if you don't get braxton hicks......quite honestly I don't recall getting them with previous 3 pregnancies and I question if I'm having them with this one, or if it's just the baby making some big movements (because they don't last long). So yeah, everything you mentioned is normal! And OMG, I can't believe your 34 weeks already!!!!!

I had alot of pelvic pressure/pain with my previous pregnancies. My dr said it was caused by the ligaments that usually hold your pelvic bones together are stretching to make room for your growing baby. so when you move and wiggle those bones are now shifting and grinnding together.. ouchie!

All normal.  Sometimes I feel like my legs are going to fall out of the sockets.  The ligaments that hold everything together are loosening to prepare for birth and it takes a toll on your entire body.  Don't worry about the BH contractions, I have enough for both of us! :)

Soooo totally normal.  Our bodies produce a hormone during pregnancy called Relaxin which loosen the joints.... primarily in the pelvis... this allows the bones to losen and allows baby to slip on by a litte easier.  The amount of relaxin increases significantly in the last trimester.  Thus... this grinding feeling!!

Take it slow... keep walking and standing as you tolerate it.  Just be gentle....

Not long now!!!
