3 hr Glucose test!

I had blood work done last week and since I'm obese they tested me early for gestational diabetes. Well I had the lap band surgery and so I can tolerate the glucose test fine (there was no problems with my last pregnancy which was after band surgery). I recieved a letter in the mail today saying I was anemic and needed to take iron. Ok I can handle that, sucks... but ok. Then there was a lab order for a 3 hour glucose tolerance test. I am assuming I didn't pass the first one, but they didn't say anything about it, just sent me lab orders. I will call tomorrow to find out my numbers and such, but I'm pretty worried now. Has anyone had the 3 hour come out fine if the 1 hour didn't? Obviously the last thing I want are any complications with the baby, so I'm a little stressed.

 I would try not to worry.  I failed my 1 hour and did fine on my 3 hour, as did my bff.  They say that lots of people do not pass their 1 hour.  Just relax!  I am sure all will be well.  And if for some reason it isn't, you will take that as it comes.  GD can be managed pretty easily!  You can do it girl!!

Its good the dr checked but your still to early out things could change.I wouldnt worry to much about it now tell the doctor tells you other wise.I do hope the best and its not there.

With my first pregnancy (pre wls) I failed the one hour (not by much) and did great on the three hour.  Try not to worry.

I guess my number was 158, but I hadn't eat for about 6 hours before the test and I was starving. I don't know if that had anything to do with my number or not. Anyway, I will be taking the test and hoping for the best.
