We've travelled with our LO at 5,8,10 & 15 months and 5 was by FAR the easiest and that was with a teething baby with diarrhea. Enjoy this trip because they get harder the bigger and more mobile they get! We're taking our next trip when she's 20 months and I'm dreading it!

Oh and BTW, every flight we've been on HAS had a changing table in at least one of the bathrooms. You can find out from the airline ahead of time if there will be a changing table on board and just ask the flight attendants when you get on which bathroom it's in because usually only one of the bathrooms has one.

So I didn't see my normal Dr today and this Dr was so in and out in 30 seconds I totally forgot to ask details about traveling. I was too stunned by the fact Liam is 18lbs 8oz and 26 inches long!
I will have to ask when I see the normal Dr at work.

I am flying up to MD to pick up my boyfriend and then we are driving to NC to visit my dad and sister. Its the first time they get to see him.

Things I am considering to take:
Some diapers w/ a pack of wipes. I am having my dad pick up a small pack for the rest of the time when we are there.

Passie cause Liam needs one to sleep.

Carseat and stroller. I plan on taking those all the way up to the door of the plane and have them check it for me for free.

Liam has reflux and spits up alot so I am taking more than a few changes of clothes and recieving blankets that i use as burp clothes.

His gas and reflux meds.

I have to check if i can premake 2 bottles and keep them on a ice pack or if I should get the premade liquid bottles. I am not 100% on the rules for this one. But I only plan to travel with enough for 2 bottles (flight is only 3 hours) and will have my dad get the formula for the rest of the trip.

Do you know where you are going to have the baby sleep?

Also my coworkers brought up the idea of drugging the baby because he can be a very fussy baby and gets overstimulated easily. The idea was to help him skip the 3 hours of screaming that is likely to ensue. For those that get up in arms over things like this on the boards, rest assured I don't drug my baby and would always clear any medication with the dr first. I didn't mean to start drama or a debate on the boards.
