spotting??

Hi all,

I found out on monday that i'm 4/12 weeks pregnancy (8 months post op from gastric sleeve).

My question is...I started spotting last night (pink color) Im thinking it's because this week I was supose to start my period...but not sure?? has anyone ever had this happen? is this normal?? IM SCARED!!!!

I spotted for 3 weeks straight with this pregnancy!  From weeks 5-8.  It was all old, dark blood though. I still panicked (sp?)  the whole 3 weeks though even though I read it was normal. My doc said that its just normal for some ladies. And as long as there is no bright red blood ALONG with severe cramping that all is well.... just monitor your spotting and if your like me and want answers NOW call your doc! Its worth the peace of mind!  Good luck!  :)

Could very well be implantation bleeding.  It is very normal esp. at 4 1/2 week out.  I myself had some spotting at out 9 wks with my first.  Of course i panicked and called my OB right away.  She did send me for an US and confirmed that all was well.  So if you need peace of mind give em a call.  I enjoyed getting to see my little monkey and slept well knowing she was safe. 

My first thought was implantation bleeding. I hope that is what it is for you. I have had 3 miscarriages that all started with a little pink blood around 5 weeks. That doesn't mean that is what is going on for you at all. It's just what my body does. I hope all is good. Hopefully your doc can see you and put your mind at ease!
