TWW

UGH.......let it begin.....another long TWW ....like many i never can wait the entire TW before i POS.....ERRRRR......never knew TW could take so long.....hopefully will get a BFP....if not at least my husband is not complaining with all the practice....lol...have a good day and good luck to all those joining me in the TWW.

 you know what's weird? every month i ovulate later and later and my period is earlier and earlier. it looks like this month i'm gonna have a 1 week. wait. thats weird.!!

Meli - have you talked to your doctor about your luteal phase length? They need to be at least 11 days long (so I've read) to give the egg enough time to implant. A week long luteal phase could be a sign of a luteal phase defect. I have a friend that had this problem. She finally went on clomid and it gave her a normal luteal phase length and she got pregnant first try. Unfortunately the pregnancy ended in early miscarriage, but it was still a great sign that things were normal with the clomid. Just a thought! I have a book called Taking Charge of Your Fertility and its a very well known book that explains it all. Just wanting to help a TTC buddy out ;)

 you know, i haven't said anything to my doc yet. its never been this ridiculous before. i was supposed to ovulate a couple days ago. first month i ovulated on day 16 of my cycle which my doc already said was a little late. then the next month it was day 17 or 18. and now here we are on day 19 and nothing. and knowing my period (been right on time, even early the last couple months) it will most likely come on day 28.  sigh....my body was doing so well on its own. i feel like i screwed something up. :(

i'm gonna see what happens with my period and whenever i get it i'll set up an apt with my RE.

I know how you r feelin my cycle has been really screwed up for the past couple months.  in July i got my period again a week after it had stopped...thought it was a fluke.....then ovulating earlier each monthand period is about a week early each month as well.....now i have had my period since i was 11 and i know my body and usually my cycle is only 25 day cycle even on birth control....this month i ovulated about 6 days early and was very painful.....i do have history of ovulatory cyst so figured was a pretty good size this month.....howeverif no bfp this month will go see OB to find out what is going on with my body....good luck to you and here's to us a bfp soon!!!!

Meli - Please don't be too discouraged. Its awesome that you are having regular cycles, even if they are a bit wonky! You are on the right track! There are meds that can easily fix a short luteal phase... or your body may even fix it on its own! Hang in there! Knowledge is power. Hugs.

Tiff - I am right on your heals! Got a very dark OPK this evening and am already feeling O pains. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for both of us!!!
