Happy Sunday evening for all the TTC ladies!
Sorry for the late post. I've had a busy weekend including a day trip to a local theme park, birthday party and baby shower. My best friend from childhood is moving in with us today while she attends grad school. Our garage was previously converted into its own little suite area so it works out great.
As far as TTC, I finished my last dose of clomid this cycle last week. I had one day where I felt pretty moody and got into a fight with my DH, but otherwise I did fine. I should ovulate this week. Keeping my fingers crossed!
How was your week? Those ladies that were in the 2WW last week.... any good news????

Some common terms:
TTC – trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN – big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD – the day of your menstrual cycle
O – ovulation
DPO – days past ovulation
LP – luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF – aunt flow ( your period)
PG – pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE – reproductive endocrinologist
OPK – ovulation prediction kit
CL – coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met – metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD – baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD – doing the deed
IUI – inter uterine insemination
IVF – in vitro fertilization
PCOS – polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS – pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW – two week wait…time from ovulation until you can test for pg

acupuncture round 2 today. i said i wasn't gonna test this month. that i was gonna just relax. but i did an OPK test last night. no surge yet but probably in the next couple of days. the thing is, because i haven't been trying i haven't been having sex. i realized that when i'm naturally in the mood is right around my period. and that around ovulation i'm not in the mood and i really have to make a point to just have sex. isn't that unfair? lol. anyway i figure since i'm ovulating soon and i'm doing acupuncture today i should try today and probably tomorrow.i mean acupuncture doesn't work if you're not having sex. and we haven't done it in over a week.
no poster today. i was in a diff room. and i'm happy bc she put no needles in my feet this time. she told me we could put more in my lower stomach so i was like cool do that! so today was muuuch better. she also gave me some herbs. we'll see. i can only afford one more visit and i haven't noticed any changes yet :(
thank you!! she also put the heat lamp extra hot on me today. i felt like i was cooking. lol.
i have to take 2-4 pills 3 times a day. sheesh. but i'm up for it. this is just the generic herbs. she said to start with these till my special formula comes. my special formula is what they put together for me based on her perscription for me. she gets it made and shipped from cali. so hopefully they're in by next week.
you know, i sometimes feel like...this is silly and nothing is happening and i'm just spending money and sometimes i feel like a sucker. but so many ppl say so many good things. so i just have to be patient.
