Baby Getting Colds / RNY to blame?

What are his the symptoms? Also to note the immunoglobulins passed on to baby start to drop at about 4-6 months. I have also read an article that children who go to daycare get sick more often in the beginning but over all they tend to get sick less when they are schoolaged.

Flu season never seemed to end at work this year so it could also just be timing. Encourage lots of handwashing.
Sick babies are no fun. Hope your little one gets better soon!

My first daughter was pre surgery and she was breastfed, and she was always battling something, I once had a doctor advise me that in the first couple of years, children are sick for almost 8 months out of 12, because they are building up their immune systems. I couldn't believe it but as she grew I completely believe this now.
My second daughter is also now 4 months, and she is just getting over her first cold, thanks to her big sister bringing it home...... But she is also breastfed and I think I will just have to wait and see what's to come.
Sending healing vibes for your little guy, Hope he feels better soon !!!
