Soo my preschooler tracted down the nastiest cold he could find his 1st week of school and has passed it along to everyone at home.. yay!
Ive been taking tylenol and slathering myself in Vics but something a tad stronger would be nice. my questian is can I take anything other than tylenol (cough meds) being pregnant and RYN.. so many rules and so little brain space to remember them in.. lol

I believe that plain sudafed was on the my OK list. Benadryl too.

I always used Claritin D. Yes, it is an allergy med, but it worked better than most of the other stuff we're allowed to take. The D in it is Sudafed like Liz suggests above. Just make sure you don't get plain Claritin, that doesn't help at all.

Claritin  work drys everything up I just used it also my dr said robitussin PE but I didnt use it.Tylenol also and chicken noddle soup to works wonders he claims.

And herbal tea!!!  Lots and lots of herbal tea.  The docs here (in Austria) are of a different mind set than in the US, they steer patients clear of any synthetic meds unless absolutely necessary. They go with more homeopathic and herbal remedies....

It's interesting..  and different, sometimes it works, sometimes I wish I had a walgreens on the corner where I could get sudafed.  I'm battling a sinus thing here myself...

sudafed... robatussin ( sp?) ..benadryl... and hot as you can handle showers... ohh i sware by my neti pot!
