I can't believe she is already 8 months old! Just wanted to share some pictures with you all! I know all babies are different with how they grow and all but I wanted to ask you other Moms if you remember what your babies weighed at 8 months or so. Luciana has not gained any weight since July. Her Pediatrician seems to be okay with this but I thought she should be gaining at least 1 pound per month. He says that they will just monitor her weight and we will see if she gains by her 9 month well baby check. She is exactly 15 pounds as of Friday. She was in the 25th percentile for weight but now she's in the 10th. She eats pretty well. She can only hold down about 4-5 ounces at a time because of her reflux is still bad. She is still on her medicine for it also. She eats about 28-32 ounces per day and eats baby food twice a day. How much is your 7-9 month  old eating, or if u remember how much did they eat around this age?

28-32 oz a day is on track as well as 2-3 times a day for solid. Here is a link to parents.com that break down a meal plan by ages

She certainly doesn't look underfed and has the cutest cheeks ever. When babies start getting active their weight slows down. What was her birth wt? normally babies double the wt by 6 months and triple it by a year.

Thank-you for this website! I feel better now. She was  7 lbs, 9 oz. at birth. Then she went down to 7 lbs, 1 oz at 1 week and staye dthat way until almost three weeks old because she had colic and really bad reflfux. She threw every meal up just about. She had been regualrly gaining about 1 pound per 1-2 pounds then stopped since July. I think she looks healthy as well. Thank-you again !

No problem! Its also normal for them to lose weight when first born and it can take 2 weeks or so to gain back. Did the Dr prescribe Zantac for the reflux? Or maybe adding in rice cereal to her bottle? I had to do both because Liam was refluxing so bad it was spewing out his nose. Not that he is having trouble gaining weight.

Glad I help to ease your mind. She is gorgeous.

You have a beautiful baby that looks perfectly healthy to me!  All of my kids always weighed less than their heights.  I'd say if the doctors are not worried about it, then I wouldn't be worried about it either!
