HI guys!

I am 9 months out of surgery and am 7 weeks pregnant............I have no idea how much I am supposed to eat.. before discovering I was pregnant, I was eating anywhere from 700-1000 calories and usually 300 of those were from isopure shakes...........so 60-90 grams of protein......

no idea what I should be doing now but I am so afraid of losing this baby that I am probably eating more then I should -- it is almost 4pm and I am already at 900 calories....

I feel nauseous quite a bit and I have no clue if its because I am eating too much or slight morning sickness..............soooo confusing!

This is something you should definitely ask your doctor. I am eating about 1600 to 2000 calories per day per my docs instructions and haven't gained weight yet.
Mommy to 2 of the most beauiful little girls in the whole universe and still in love with my hubby of 8 years. LIFE IS GOOD!

You need to add 300-400 healthy calories per day, make sure u get in whole grains, you  need your carbs now...and u can still have protein shakes but i think a couple of them aren't that great for pregnancy i hope someone else  can answer that question for u. But during my pregnancy i was soooo nauseated from meat, alot of people get that...can happen with the shakes or any foods, everyone is different. Just make sure to get in what u can and water...lots! You may even have to have real sugars...i know alot of us do. Make sure u cal your surgeons office and find out what extra vitamins u need to take and get your blood drawn each month :) I had issues with low sugars and BP and i've read alot of other womens msg's on here having the same issues. Congrats!! btw..i also got pregnant at 9 months out :D, shes  almost 3 months old now!

I don't count calories. I eat when I'm hungry until I'm satisfied. I eat quite low in carbs, as I eat no grains, no sweets, no starchy veggies, and just a little fruit. I'm about 12 weeks and have lost almost 10 pounds since I found out I was pregnant, but ultrasound yesterday confirmed baby is still measuring right on target, so I don't plan on forcing myself to eat more or differently.
