i think you did rain on her parade... 17 weeks is pretty accurate if baby opens up their legs...at this stage its pretty easy to tell if there is a penis or not... i found out way before 20 weeks with all 3 of my kids...

You did rain on her parade it was going to be a happy day for her.I was able to find out at 12 weeks that I was having girls and coming from another mother who lost babies yes you were rude you didn't have to say it the way you did!
