OMG #4 on it's way

HOWDY!!

I had surgery 6 years 4 months ago, I had surgery because I was told by one of Los Angeles's top fertility specialists that I would never have any children, that I was in the 1% of women where there was no medical explaination or reason and perhaps it was a spiritual reason I wasn't meant to have kids and I should perhaps focus on other things life has to offer (asshole).

10 months after surgery I had my 4th miscarriage, there was another baby in my left tube and had to get a DNC. Great... now I'm left with only 1 tube :(. 12 months after surgery we were blessed with a pregnancy that thrived and (she came early) 7 months later Paie made her very healthy Christmas (not Valentines day) entrance!!

we tried for another 3 years and finally paid to have IUI, first try we got PG with Quinten, another December baby! Do I need birth control?? OH Heck no.... we can't have kids on our own! When Quinten was 9 weeks old we had "relations" ONE time and 4 weeks later found out that Reese was on her way!! :) Oh THANK YOU LORD!!

I was 99.9% sure we were done... Reese is now 9 months old exactly and, again, ONE TIME last month is bringing us baby "S"!! (P, Q, R...S)

There is hope after devestaion, there is hope after tubal loss, there is hope after miscarriage (I have had 8 total). GOD IS GOOD.

that's great! Congrats! I love stories like yours! My dear friend had so much trouble getting pregnant with her first two, then lost one and just had #5 (2-5 weren't expected as they thought they would need help getting pregnant again!)after being told she'd never have kids! Never say never!!

It always gives me the chills how similar our stories are! I am due with #4 anyway then I am getting fixed! I have a track record of getting pregnant when my kids are 12 -16 weeks old! Lol- never thought I would say that!

Conratulations!!!!!! Thank you so much for sharing your joureny and struggles. I just lost a baby due to ectopic pregnancy and lost my right tube. I also have PCOS. I am so scared that I wont be able to get pregnant with only one tube! THank you, thank you for sharing your experience! It gives me hope. Congrats again! :)

I love love love your story! Mine isn't exactly like yours but we waited 10 years and went through the fertility treatments, still nothing. We adopted our beautiful son at 8 months old (had him since he was 3 weeks old) and then I had my RNY. Got pregnant almost 8 months post op while on birth control, and now have our healthy baby girl. I just love hearing stories from others. Your RIGHT! God is sooo good! Congrats on #4!

Congrats!  I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.  Your story of having several successful pregnancies amid so many losses give hope to many - including myself - who have also had numerous losses.
