A big jump in my hcg levels in 48 hours

I had some bleeding on Wed so the Doctor sent me to do my hcg levels.I had seen him on Tuesday and everything had looked good.He thinks the bleeding was just from him checking me or is normal in the first trimester.Any how did it Wed numbers were 5,232 and 48 hours later this am they were at 11,432.One of the girls called me and ask to come in for a sonogram so I was worried as all hell.Any how I got there and he wanted to check for twins.Still to early to tell but the number hes amazed by if there is only one only because the jump in number so much at once.We could see heart beat but still way ton Early to see much of anything.He will be doing another sonogram in two weeks at 8 weeks.

I was just thinking about you today and wondered how you were doing that is good news. Praying for you and your baby or babies!!!

I too was wondering how you were going. They are really great numbers. That's great news about the heartbeat. We saw our triplets at 6weeks and 1 day. Can't wait to hear your update in 2 weeks

With girls I could see them at 7 weeks but two different sacks made it easier........I'm guessing just one but doctor say he's not sure yet to small and can hide.my ob said range is normal but to have it jump that much in 48 hours is what has him so sure.

I've read that early on, HCG levels can double every 24-48 hours, so I wonder why they were surprised by this. My first HCG level (thinking back, I would have been 7 weeks and 2 days the day I had my blood drawn) was more than 75,500.

My number range is normal but as I said because the jump in a 48 hour period.He can also go back and look at my other two pregnancys and see my hcg levels and for me he's worried about twins and to be honest I would rather have him on top of it then not.
