3 weeks....and pics

I can't believe Margaret is already 3 weeks old! Today was my due date and my birthday. She's absolutely the light of my life! She sleeps like a champ! During the day she's usually up between every other feeding for about 2ish hours. At night she sleeps from 10:30 or 11 until 8-8:30 only waking between 3:30 and 4:30 to eat. She travels great, she eats great (every 1.5-3 hours as I don't let her go longer than 3.5 during the day)...I really have no problems at all! OH except bath time....she just doesn't like bath time at all!!! We're working on it though! My incision has healed wonderfully so far and I've had no problems from that at all!!! We're working on trying to find a bottle that doesn't cause her to dribble half of the contents out on herself. So far Playtex drop ins work the best. I refuse to buy Dr Browns. The regular/basic nipples are the worst, and tried breastflow bottles...almost as bad. They're great bottles, she's just dribbly! Anyway, here are some pics....

how sweet is she!... im guessing her cord stump is still attached? until then bathtime will really suck.. there is not much you an do until then.. shes cold even if the water is warm ... sometimes if you keep a warm wash cloth over her torso while you wash her hair or other body parts it will help keep her warmer... after it falls off you can dunk their little bodies and its not so bad... my babies loved showers and they would always fall asleep in them.. i do use dr browns... i had no luck with any other bottles..

The cord is gone now and she doesn't like being in the water any better yet. She'll learn to like water....all 3 of her grandparents live on lakes!! I just need to find what works for her, right now it's just a fast bath!

She is beautiful!! Have you tried the Tommee Tippee bottles?

I've used them with other kids (I'm a teacher in an infant room). That's one I was going to try. I want to give the breastflow another try and same with the playtex. I haven't gotten paid yet from disability so we're using what we have for now. :)
