37 weeks, 50% effaced, dilated to 1 cm and he is at -1

Hey ladies!!

What does this mean exactly?  The doc said baby is in my pelvis now since he is at -1....do you think he will come soon???

only baby can decide that! You could sit like this for 3 weeks or you could progress right along!

I was 50% and 3cm for over 2 weeks with no change.

WOW Liz, that puts it in perspective!  This is my first so it's like I hear these terms but I don't fully know what to make of them, like is he coming tonight??!  I have more nesting to do....of course that energy burst is starting to go away.  I have out of town friends visiting TH-SUN and I hope he stays in until they leave!

By 36 weeks I was 1cm, fully effaced... my daughter was not born until 41 weeks.  Everyone is different!
