Thank you Prytte...I'm hopeful too!  Trying to stay prayed up!  Congrats again on your baby girl.....let me guess her room will be pink right? LOL...but what variation of pink? Light pink, dark pink with some fushia? Do tell!

we are in similar situations...........I am SHOCKED to be pregnant........my due date is April 29th and I am 41......my Dr. is far is more worried about my age then surgery ........not sure if I should be worried that he is not worried about surgery.........I wish I was your age!.......isn't it weird that I have had 2 u/s but not yet has he tested my HCg levels........weird........we did see a heartbeat though.....I hope things work out well for both of us........as unexpected as this was, I really want this baby!!  good luck

Congrats on your pregnancy!  Hearing the heartbeat is a very good sign and testing of HCG levels aren't necessary unless you have had miscarriages before.  I'm sure everything will be fine...Enjoy your pregnancy.

Oh and when I told my surgeon's office everyone congratulated me and didn't give me any grief.  It put my mind at ease.  They weren't concerned about the surgery having any adverse effects on the pregnancy.

However my story didn't end well; I miscarried on Thurs.....working through all the emotions but hopeful that I will eventually have a successful pregnancy.  Good luck to you!
