Bowel Obstruction Update-Long
It's a partial obstruction due to scar tissue (adhesion) around the exit stoma of my pouch. The exit is now narrowed and it causes pain when food tries to squeeze thru. It's not impacting the blood flow to my bowels. Since food is able to get thru and I'm able to have bowel movements, my surgeon does not want to fix it now. He did send my OB a picture of my original stoma and the EGD showing the scar tissue because he does not believe that it will correct itself after birth.
