nervous and probably neurotic
Hi all... I have a doctor's appt tomorrow morning, I'll be 10 weeks exactly. I'm nervous as hell (again). So, I'm asking for prayers and support since I haven't told anyone about this baby except hubby, I don't have alot of support right now.
The last baby died around 12 or 13 weeks and this was discovered at 15 weeks. I think what makes me sooooo paranoid is I had no symptoms... no cramping, no bleeding, nothing.... So, I'm afraid every time I go in there that I'm going to be shocked again....
Thanks again for listening, I know this theme is becoming old news... but can't help the way I feel.
Best to all!
Linda

I completely understand. My first pregnancy ended in much the same manner. No symptoms at all and went for an Ultrasound only to find out baby had been gone for 3 weeks. I'll never forget how traumatic that experience was.
When I got pregnant again, I was a nervous wreck. Again, I had no symptoms but that was not reassuring because of what happened the first time. I had no miscarriage symptoms but I had no pregnancy symptoms either.
I really didn't start to relax until 20 weeks when I started feeling the baby move. Having those little nudges were great reassurance that she was still in there baking away.
BUT...even then I was nervous! Now I have a toddler and I'm STILL nervous. It's just about different stuff...lol.
Your feelings are completely understandable and valid but try your best to just let go. What will be will be...and it will be great!

Happy thoughts coming your way! I have my doc appointment on Friday, and I will be 10 weeks as well. This is my first pregnancy, so I have not had a traumatic experience myself, but I still worry. I check the toilet paper every time I go to the bathroom to be sure there's no sign of blood! I know things can happen even without blood, but I figure being stressed all the time won't help anything, so I try not to think about it much.
I've also told quite a few people already. I figured if something unfortunate did happen, I would want the support of my family and friends, so I didn't hold off on telling. But, of course, that's a very personal decision.

Sending lots of prayers and good thoughts your way! I hope your appointment goes well! It's understandable to be worried, especially with what you've been through! Hugs!
