Nesting

Well it has definitely hit me hard!  I'm 28 weeks tomorow and I've pretty much run out of stuff to do to get ready for this baby (other then wait).  A few weeks ago we moved my daughter out of the nursery and into her "big girl room".  Since then, I've raised the crib matress back up to infant level, made the bed, put up the mobile, washed all of our newborn clothes, stocked the drawers, and even filled the diaper caddy.  I feel like everything is going to be dusty by the time the baby is here!  I just can't help myself, lol.  I've even gone as far as digging out all of my daughter's newborn clothes and boy hand me downs from my sister and washing both sets so that I'm covered either way.  I figure this way I won't have to go digging around the attic and doing laundry when I get home from the hospital, now all I have to do is put the correct pile into the drawers once the baby arrives.  I literally feel like I'm out of stuff to do, and I still have 3 months!  With my daughter I didn't even have furniture yet and my shower wasn't until later in my pregnancy, so I was barely done with this stuff by the end of my 3rd trimester, here I am this time and I'm finished at the end of my second!  What do I do now while I wait??

Don't worry, with my first I was pretty sure the baby would be sleeping in a shoe box cause it took us so long to get everything ready.  This time I'm just in overdrive I guess!  I even managed to get all of this done while dealing with a dog that got skunked over the weekend, lol!

I hit 29 weeks, and we're closing on our first home in 2 weeks from today. I have had about 75% of the house packed, and we've been living in a cardboard box jungle since early June. 2 weeks ago, I packed up my entire kitchen minus the eating utensils we will use, 3 steak knives, and 2 mixing bowls, one cookie sheet and a few pots and pans.

Last weekend, my son and I moved out junk from our garage and took it to recycle bin/dump. I have packed away all the baby stuff in specific boxes so when we move in, I can just get busy arranging her room.

People have told me that I've extremely smart to buy a house and be closing on it during my nesting phase. I have yet to agree with them because it's driving me crazy that I can't really do much at this point, and having all of these boxes just waiting to get to the new house, have sent me over the edge on numerous occasions.
