For those who didn't see my other thread, here's a synopsis:
- Since about Saturday, I've had noticeable symptoms of sore breasts, pretty major changes in appetite, some nausea, fatigue, and some bouts of lightheadedness.
- Since Monday, I have taken 7 (yes, SEVEN) home pregnancy tests. I had 3 First Response tests all negative, and 4 Dollar Tree tests all positive.
- Had blood drawn on Tuesday at my PCP's office to verify one way or the other; long story short, the tube of blood was mislabeled, and the test was never run.
- Stopped at a Quest lab for another blood draw yesterday afternoon RIGHT before they closed.
Results are in from Quest...very positive! My HCG level is more than 75,500! Shame on First Response!
Since my cycles were irregular, my gyn's office is going from my last known period in June, so I may already be 9 weeks along (which is in line with some charts I found online about HCG levels by week - with this level, I should be at least 7 weeks). I have my first appointment scheduled for the 19th.
My husband and my sister know, and I will break the news to my parents this weekend when they are visiting (Mom would have been one of my first calls, but since they're coming up this weekend anyway, we're going to tell them in person).
I also have a very good friend who is TTC, and she had a positive OPK test yesterday, so hopefully she will be joining me soon!

Thanks, everyone! I can't wait for my parents to be here tomorrow so we can tell them.
And First Response will be getting a sternly worded email shortly...
