Failed IUD, false negs and need crib help!
Hey gals! Long story short-our daughter didn't have a period for nearly two years as she breast fed and had the Mirena (sp) when our grand daughter was 6 weeks old. She'd been showing signs of pregnancy for the last 4 months and had been taking MANY tests at my insistance even tho they kept showing negative. Any way, it seems the hormones prob. are what made these urine tests give a false positive. Our daughter is feeling very over whelmed at the thought of having a 20 month old and a newborn and a boy at that! Se has a great fiancé though and we aren't concerned at all!
We have 7 weeks to prepare for this baby and since thy are both working full time, everyone is helping out. We are buying a new crib and need help with brands. Is there a better or more popular brand? All the suggestions leave us confused!!
Thanks on advance for your help

WHEW that is a lot to process, but it sounds like y'all have a great plan in place.
My mom and I shopped for cribs for over a week. Between on-line reviews, and some friend's suggestions, we went with the Delta Cambridge convertible crib(bought it at Target). I should add that we have not assembled it yet because we are closing on a new house at the end of this month so we're waiting until we get to the new house. Obviously, we have plenty of time since I'm only 7 months pregnant.
2 of my friends have this identical crib, and they love it. It also has a changing table attached to it with additional storage, and it converts to a toddler then a full bed.
I went with the Espresso color, and have found it super easy to find a matching dresser and decor which was a huge concern for me.

I'm not sure about pregnancy chances pre-op. I had polycystic ovaries pre-op and and had a mirena iud. Everything was fine. No pregnancies. Fast forward 15 months post-op. Mirena failed me. I was sick and sleeping all the time and found out I'm knocked up. If you have any doubts, get to the drug store and get a first response test or whatever you want to use. Nutrition is especially important in the early months as that's when the brain, spine and organs are developing.
