TTC list for the week of 8/8/11
Hi Ladies!
How was your week? For those of you that were in the 2WW last week... have you POAS yet??? Jen, how did your IUI go?
I had my gallbladder removed last Tuesday and am struggling to recover from 2 surgeries, 3 weeks apart. The main incision is pulled really tight and it spasms and feels like a charlie horse that won't go away. I had something similar after my VSG surgery and it took about 5 weeks to relax. Sigh. Other than that I am doing fine and healing well.
I should be one week away from AF and I am feeling the PMS already! Nothing like being a little under the weather to make PMS symptoms worse! haha! I had really strong ovulation symptoms this month (fertile CM, cramping, higher temps) which was surprising to me because of the trauma of my ectopic in July. I'm hopeful it means I am back with a bang!
As always, please let me know if you would like to be added to the list or edited!
-Nikki :)

Nikki - hope that incision pain heals up soon; I know after my WLS, I had what I guess was an adhesion that was tight and hurt on the side of my abdomen anytime I turned even just a little to that side. It was such a pain (no pun intended), and everything from sleeping to going to the bathroom was easier once that went away!
I'm going to go grab a pregnancy test today just to make sure I'm not pregnant. I doubt that I am, but I need to rule it out as a reason for these symptoms I've been having lately; I've been more tired than usual, I wake up STARVING in the mornings, and there are these times I think I feel hungry, but then when I get up to go get food, I just feel nauseous (a couple times a little almost lightheaded or, I dunno, fuzzy as well - hard to describe). And certain foods are acting weird - for example, Chick-fil-A breakfast is AMAZING, right?! We went there for breakfast Saturday morning, and I couldn't even finish my breakfast sandwich, like it just didn't appeal to me at all (not a volume issue as I can normally finish a whole breakfast sandwich).
It could also all be related to my less-than-stellar diet lately or the fact that I missed almost a week of vitamins when we came back from vacation. I've been back to the vitamins religiously for a few days now, but I need to work on my diet. I have at least been having a protein shake just about every day again, so it's a start...
