Photography business/Luciana Update =)
I've been going back and forth on whether to start a home business with photography. I have just been doing some portraits for family and friends for the past few years. I took these yesterday, please tell me if you think they are good enough to maybe start a business! I just used a white sheet for the first few, but I defiantly plan on buying more portrait ready backgrounds and props for better pictures. =) Positive criticism is welcomed!
I also wanted to update on my baby girl! I took Luciana to her 6 month well baby check up last week and she weighed in at 15 lbs, 3 oz and is now 26 inches! We started to try her on baby foods around 4-5 months old starting with oatmeal, then veggies, fruits...She wouldn't eat for the longest time without clenching her gums closed and I had explained to the Pediatrician that I just didn't think she liked food or the textures cause she only wanted her bottles. She would dab her tongue on the spoon and would not allow me to put the food in her mouth at all! He told me to just feed her more often so that she would get use to eating. So, I kept it up. Well, she finally gave in. This week she acts as if I can't get the spoon in her mouth any quicker than I am already doing, lol! She loves to eat now and every bite she hums, "Mmmmm"! LOL. She has quite the personality also. She is already swatting at her older brother when he gets in her face. She can roll over both ways and just started sitting up unassisted in the past 2 weeks. She also does her version of "patty cake" which cracks us up because when you start to sing the song she slaps her lap. We figured out that she is trying to clap her hands to the song but her coordination is off a bit, lol. I can't believe she will be 7 month sold in just a few days! Anyways, hope you all enjoy my pictures of Luci and Clayton.

The pics are great! I think you should start a business! I know a few photographers who started with friends and family and are doing well with their business'!

As a photographer my self (www.rhiettapricephotography.com), I think you are off to a good start, but not technically ready to start a buisness. The images on the sheet are underexposed adn the last is slightly out of focus (could be just the way they posted here though...hard to really tell).
I'm sure you are also aware that there is a LOT more to being a photographer (in buisness) than just taking photographs (buisness license, taxes, insurance, proper equipment and software.....).
A good place to look into (if you are not already a member is ILP www.ilovephotography.com) FANTASTIC resources for learning and business aspects.
