Getting mine out was way worse than my RNY and my DH didnt understand how it could be worse.  They actually kept me overnight d/t the pain, they asked me what i wanted to do and that is what i decided.  then again i had a 2 hr drive back home from the hospital, so they may have felt sorry for me.  Walking is the best thing for you i know it hurts (i almost passed getting up to the potty the first time) but the more you do the easier it gets.  I was glad my doc told me i would need to weeks off work cause that is how long it took me to feel almost normal.  So bite the bullet get off the recliner and take a couple laps around the LR it will help in the long run.

Thank you everyone for the comments and suggestions. It is very comforting to me knowing that other people had a hard time with the surgery. I was starting to feel like a big baby about it!
I had a pretty decent sleep on my recliner and haven't gotten up yet but am about to. I did do some walking yesterday and will again today because I know its important. Walking isn't too hard, its the getting up and down that hurts!
I am eating low fat/bland foods per my discharge paperwork. Hoping I will lose a little more weight because of this. That would be a nice perk.
I'm keeping my eyes on the prize... after this I can start TTC again. Every step I am taking is to become a healthier person for a better future!
Thanks again guys, I love you all!

Having my Gallbladder out was by far worse then my RNY!!!
I currently take Oxycodone every day for other health reasons and I always feel better if I take 1 Tab every 2 hours instead of 2 tabs every 4!!  Hang in there!  It does get better!  You have to do what works for you!  Hope you are feeling better!  Just wanted to let you know it will get better and to hand in there!

I'm sorry you're in so much pain.  Like you said though...it's for the good cause...better to do it now than when you're pregnant again (God willing soon) and have to deal with it then.  Your plan to take 1/2 dose of med in 1/2 the time is a good one...I used to do that for my son when he was little and sick...it helped a lot.  Maybe you're malabsorbing part of the pain meds and that's why they're not kicking your ass and knocking you out?  Does it come in liquids?

You're not a baby b/c you're in pain & feel it's more pain than some of us had.  All surgeries are different for all of us, and what hurt the hell out of me may be a breeze for you and vice versa.

Be gentle with yourself...walk around as much as you can, but don't over do it (and no lifting!)...and rest in that recliner as you need to.  You'll be feeling better in 2-3 days, God willing.

Breaking the narcotic pain med into half dose every 2 hours instead of full dose every 4 is working so much better! I also called my surgeon and asked if I could add advil to the mix and they said yes, I could take up to 800 mg 3 x per day. So that is also really helping.
I have a sleeve so I should not be malabsorbing any of the meds. I am very thankful right now for that and for the fact that I can still take NSAIDS with my surgery. That was a major factor in my surgery choice.
So, at this point I am very comfortable when just relaxing in my recliner. Moving around still hurts bad from the deep stitch they removed my gallbladder from. Its just like the stitch they removed my stomach from during VSG surgery... and that one hurt like a B&tch for 6 weeks! I couldn't lay down flat for 6 weeks because it would pull so bad. At least I am familiar with this, otherwise I would be freaking out.
My surgeon also said I could use ice packs if I wanted. I haven't done that yet since I am comfortable while sitting now, but may consider it at some point.
Thank you all for the tips! You saved my butt!
