I'm soooo excited!!!! - OT

Hi ladies!! Well, this is way off topic for this forum, but since you all have been a great part of my life for the last 2 years, I just had to share with yall. So, we relocated to PA in the middle of June. My husband was able to get a job transfer and things have been going terrificly!!! Well, we got the call last night that we were pre-approved with my husband's VA loan to start looking for houses. My husband was also offered a HUGE promotion, but we will have to relocate to just over the WV border. They offered him the highest supervisory position within their firm and even offered to pay our relocation expenses. We found about 4 properties now that we really really like- including a beautiful Victorian 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath with finished basement, pool, and fenced in yard...within our pre-approved amount. This one is a short sale too so we could actually move in by the end of August if all goes right and the kids would all start school in a new school that we will be staying in for years to come (provided they don't relocate him again lol)

The girls will be away starting Monday for Vacation Bible camp for 2 weeks, so I'm planning on making quite a few trips down to take a look at the area and the houses the realtor has lined up for us. Please keep your fingers and toes crossed that it all falls through for us pleases??? I'm not looking forward to another move, but we will only be a short trip away from the family and just knowing that we will be so much better off financially is just making me smile from ear to ear :)

PS...we haven't announced anything on facebook just yet because we want to make sure everything goes through and then we're going to throw a big bbq at our house and break the news to all the fam! sooo shhhh girls if you're on my facebook as well :) thanks!

Thank u thank u!! we've been repairing our credit for the last 3 years and we finally got it up to above sub par. :) i so can't wait to pick one out!

I haven't posted here in a long time but I lurk.  My baby is about to turn four this week.. I'm not sure what part of Wv you will be moving to but I live in Berkeley County (Martinsburg,Wv) and can point you in the right direction as far as schools, houses, parks and doctors etc.  You can find me on Facebook.
