36 Week Appt & Quotes from the Dr...
Well as I think I posted before, but can't remember for sure, my c-section is scheduled for the 18th at 8:30am. We met one of the other drs at the practice today and she said "wow! That IS a big baby" when looking at the u/s report. Then she was checking my belly externally (of course) and said "she actually is pretty big, how tall are you" I'm about 5'10" so she then said "well you can hide a lot of baby in there!"
Since it was the first "pants off" appt for the strep test, she checked things. She said, "Wow! Her head is right there, are you feeling any pressure?"
Oh and by the way I'm 50% effaced!
If anyone figures out why it's easier to get off the floor than it is to get off of something that is near the floor, please let me know! I work with infants (my oldest right now is 12 months and the youngest is 2.5 months) so being on the floor and bending and stuff is pretty important. I'm hoping to work up to the day of the c-section, but we'll see!!!

yay! so excited for you! and I was back in business like a week after Sage was born. I went to her first pedi appt when she was a week old and the doctor goes "you're kidding, she was a c-section? most c-section moms come in here and can't even walk, you look great" I think it's because I have had much more painful surgeries like my bypass. to me, that was 20X's worse than a c-section
