Round Ligament Pain?????
Has anyone had Round Ligament Pain??? I have been having pain from my right kidney area around and down to my Right Lower Quadraint. I mentioned it to my OB at my visit this week and when she palpated my stomach I was in tears which is totally not like me ( I have a high threshold of pain). However my whole lower belly is very tender for some reason and has been for a week or so. I was just wondering if anyone had any insight.
I have it daily, and especially on the right side of my pelvic/lower abdomen area. I'm a side sleeper, and have found that if I twist a certain way while sleeping, that pain will shoot across my pelvic area and wakes up immediately.
I have been doing some stretches, and have found that if I get on my hands/knees, and bring my right leg up and bend it way over to help stretch out those areas this gives me immediate relief.
Most of my weight gain has come right back to my stomach, and it makes me so uncomfortable.

I'm not sure if it's even that or something else. I hurt when i'm sleeping, when i'm sitting, when I walk. I still had some belly fat after I lost my weight and i've really not gained that much weight so far. I think the thing that gets me is like when i'm standing at the sink at the kitchen and I lean over to wash my hands my belly is so tender just from that. Did you talk to you dr about your symptoms? If so what did they do to figure out that was what was going on?
I talked to both of my ob's about it. Because my pelvic bones are hurting, it's not muscular, and it's extremely painful to the point that I'm waddling to get out of bed. The "pulling" sensation I've felt is the round ligament pain, and it happens randomly throughout every day. Both docs recommended doing stretches, and moving slowly upon getting out of bed, bending in certain positions. I lay on the bed on my forearms and knees, stretch each leg up and bend it at the knee, and I have my husband stretch the leg up as high and up towards my head as much I can tolerate. I also lay on my side, and do a leg lift then have my husband stretch it as far up toward the ceiling until I feel uncomfortable. It's a daily ritual at this point. The worse pain I've felt is hopping out of my Dodge Nitro. I'm only 5'2", and it sits up kind of high. I slung my left leg over, and apparently that stretched everything, I thought I was going to cry.
So, being aware of how I move is essential for me to prevent that stinging, pulling pain I have been feeling. It sometimes happen when I sneeze or cough really hard especially if I'm standing up. I'm having allergies/sinus issues for the last week so it's happening more often since I can't kick the sinus drainage which induces coughing. I've gained about 18lbs thus far, and it's mainly in my stomach. My hips have widened quite a bit as I'm noticing panties and certain pants that fit just 2 weeks ago are not fitting properly. I don't have belly sensitivity, it's much lower and along my pubic bone/that crook where the thigh meets my groin area.

I had a really tender belly - I could hardley even stand clothes touching it. I also had the round ligament pain. It was in that area, and it seemed to happen whenever I used those muscles - turning over at night, getting out of a chair etc. It settled down around the middle of the second trimester.
