I didn't breastfeed and had a c-section and a tubal ligation and had no AF for 14 weeks. It's been so odd too because even after surgery I've never been regular and bam 32 days after that I got the big AF again. Go figure!!

how long did you bleed after you had your baby? have you had sex since then? if you have, might wanna take a test for a just in case. each person is different. OUR bodies have been thru so darn much it takes us longer to regulate out. I would suggest i should say HIGHLY suggest you call your dr to get acheck up.

I wouldn't worry about it.  Even if you aren't BF, it isn't uncommon to take awhile before AF returns.  I breast fed my daughter for a year.....  AF didn't return for a year...  no complaints there!!  With my son it was different though.  I nursed him for 10 months... but AF came back after 6 months or so....

I only nursed my son for about 2 weeks after he was born 2 years ago, and it took 11 weeks for it to return!  Look out when it does though.  For me, when I did get it, it was the worst one I had ever had.  I had heavy, heavy bleeding for about 4 days solid before it let up.  I even had to change pads in the middle of the night.  I am usually only about 3 days total.  For me that period lasted about 6 days.  I didn't think it would ever end.  I wouldn't worry yet, unless of course you have reason to believe you could be pregnant!  For me, I knew I couldn't be, because I had had a tubal with my c-section.  If you don't think you are pregnant, I would give it at least another month or so.  In the meantime--enjoy the absence of it!

Thank you ladies, Lillian has a doctors appointment Monday and I am going to ask my doctor. We have only had intercourse once and my husband believes in the pull out method....... I do not but I am unable to go on BC b/c I have migrains and other medical issues that my doctor feels it's unsafe to put me on anything but the IUD( which I am just not comfortable with ). I am not having sex again untill we figure out what we are going to do for protection. Thank you again for all of your input.
