OMG she's HUGE!!!!

I know the measurements can be off by a pound or 2 either way, but as of today (35 weeks) they're saying she IS 8 lbs 13 oz!!! We had a dr appt right after the u/s and even the dr said "holy s*#t"!!!!!! The dr says she's likely to be 11 lbs by the time they TAKE her at 39 weeks!!! I'm waiting on the dr office to call me to schedule a c-section. I'm not worried about it, I just want her to come out whatever way is safest for her. BUT SHE'S HUGE!!!

They also said there's been protein and white blood cells in my urine. It was 2 weeks ago and this week so this week they sent it out for more definite results. My 2 fasting blood sugar results were good. They did a 2 hour post eating glucose test today so we'll see how those results come out.

In other news...the baby has flipped so she's head down and I think she may have dropped or she's just really low to begin with! The tech had the u/s thing almost on top of my pubic bone to get her head and I feel sooooo much more pressure the last 2-3 days! Also BH has started coming strong when I walk around. Walking from work to my car is the worst so far. I work in a rather large corporate building and park in a parking structure attached by a walkway. I used to park far from the doors, but I've scaled back my efforts about half way as it's been tooooo HOT (100 degrees today with a heat index of 113!! That's the last index I heard at least) and it's getting really difficult!

Oh my!!!  That's one big baby!  Hoping the next few weeks pass quickly for you!

Ultrasound measurements can be way off.  They kept saying that my daughter would be at least 9 to 9.5 lbs.  When she was born at 41 weeks whe weighed just over 6 lbs.  Don't worry too much! 

Hopefully they are off by a few pounds! She's gonna be a healthy lil girl! Hoping for good results from the tests!

WOW yeah they can be off. I'm one day ahead of you I think and Eliana is just 5lbs but she is also measuring 2-3weeks behind in her size so very tiny. I just keep thinking it's not 100%

Wow!!  That's going to be a big healthy girl... even if they are off!  It was like this with my son.  He measured in the 95th% from 16 weeks gestation on.  He was predicted to be 11 pounds plus and as a result of his size was taken by section.  He was actually 9 pounds... but his head was HUGE and I don't mind sayin I'm glad they took him cesarian... it seemed a lot less risky all things considered.

I wish you a wonderful last few weeks and a healthy delivery... and cooler weather!!  I'm lucky I'm not in the states right now... it's quite pleasant here.... if not a little too cool... kids want to go swimming and it's not quite warm enough...  Don't be jealous... we reach the 100's too... and NO ONE has air conditioning except the big shopping centers....

Ultrasounds can be way off!!! They told me Haleigh would be 8.5 - 9lbs and she was 6lbs 4oz at birth!!!! 

I actually was happy to have a CSec... and will do it again! 

U/S can be off, but they can be on too.  The day before my first son was born, the u/s tech gave us 9lbs 11oz...and that was his exact weight when he came out the next day! 

mine were on almost exactly too. I hope for you sake that they are a little off though.

Don't panic! They kept saying Rowan was big, my doctor was saying he would not allow me to go past my due date because he was worried about the size. He came out 4 days before my due at weighing a reasonable 8lbs 4oz.
