Braxton Hicks
Boy did the braxton hicks start last night! I'm blaming the heat! I guess this is just a sign that I'm moving along in my pregnancy and I need to get a move on getting the room for my 2 year old ready so that we can have the nursery all ready for the new baby! I keep drinking cause I know that dehydration can cause BH, but really all the extra water does is make me pee more, not really helping the contractions at all. They don't hurt, but they're definitely uncomfortable. I guess I'd forgotten how annoying they can be! Ahhhh, I feel like I have so much to do and this baby is definitely reminding me that we're running out of time!
They can actually start as early as six weeks, you just don't feel them that early. Some women never feel them, guess I'm just lucky. I think this is around when they started with my first, this time they're just more intense. They only seem to bother me at night, so I guess that's not so bad. For how symptom free my pregnancy has been, if this is the worst I have to deal with, I'll gladly accept!!
I'm 24 weeks along. I definitely drink ALOT! Unfortunately staying inside is not much of a help as it is about 87 degrees in my house currently and 85 degrees outside. I'm not a fan of central air (perhaps this week I'm rethinking that stance, lol). It only bothers me in the evening and then gets better after I relax in bed for a while with the window AC going. But, as I said earlier, if this is the worst I have to deal with I'll take it! Sure beats morning sickness!!
