Some common terms:

TTC – trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN – big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD – the day of your menstrual cycle
O – ovulation
DPO – days past ovulation
LP – luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF – aunt flow ( your period)
PG – pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE – reproductive endocrinologist
OPK – ovulation prediction kit
CL – coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met – metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD – baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD – doing the deed
IUI – inter uterine insemination
IVF – in vitro fertilization
PCOS – polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS – pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW – two week wait…time from ovulation until you can test for pg

+OPK's but false since LH surges from the cysts =no ovulation
Awaiting word from Doctor to see if we can go to Femara!

Hi Nikki,

Could you change my stats to 17 yrs instead of 15 and everything else is correct.  I am on CD 28 and 8dpo and not waiting to test oh so patiently.  Want to test now but know that will be a waste.  Trying to hold out to at least Wednesday (my Bday, wouldn't that be a nice bday gift).  Thanks for taking over this post.  I love to see how ppl are doing.  Best of luck to everyone and congrats to those who are preggo!!!

Im TTC since 6/2011.....but four days late test on Monday if I can wait maybe Sunday!

For some reason I'm having issues editing my post, so I will edit it with your guys' changes for next week. Thank you all for responding! I am happy to take this over and go through the TTC journey with you!

Cheri - Welcome to officially TTC! I have PCOS too, so will be anxiously following your journey with my fingers crossed. I know you will get your BFP soon!

Congratulations Violet on your BFP and being 6 weeks along! I will happily take you off the list :)

Sherry-Lynn, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a BFP for you this cycle! You are still early DPO and there is plenty of time left for you to get your BFP this month! 

Jennifer - I can't believe you haven't broken down and POAS yet! I hope you've got a sticky little bean in there already!

I broke down and got a negitive but blood test Friday doctor said if I dont start.if it comes back negitive on clomid I go.

You can take me off the list, we got our BFP and are 7.5 weeks pregnant! Thanks for taking over the list! Keeping everyone who's TTC and pregnant in my thoughts and prayers!
