To the csection mammas

I am just curious of a cpl things. First i'm having pains in my side, kind of muscle pains....i am assuming this is normal with all that went on down there...is it? lol and also how long approximately do you bleed/whatever the hell it is? (u know what i mean lol)

The pains are normal from bruising and then healing. I bleed for 2 wks after both c-sections but everyone is different and some bleed up to 6 wks.

i am sute the pains are normal although i can't remember i know i had a lot of back pain.  and i bled for 2-3 weeks

The pain can also be from gas as well...I bled for about a month.

my pain has gone (I am 3 weeks post c section) and my bleeding has stopped as well, the last couple of days it has been very light, pinkish/ brown (looks like old blood).

I do remember that my post-op instructions were to take it easy if your bleeding appears to have stopped/ subsided and then starts again fresh/ bright red.

thanks everyone....the nurse was concerned when i said there was some colour still so maybe i have been over doing it, its hard not to...the house isnt going to take care of its self lol
