My BIG turkey is 4 1/2 months

Hey ladies!! How's everyone doing? Well, we went to the Drs on Tuesday for Landen's 4 month shots- he's 4 and a half months, but had a cold and slight fever so we had to wait a week on his shots. He now weighs 14lbs 4oz and is 25.5 in long!! :O  On June 1, he was only 11lbs, so he gained a whopping 3.4lbs!! He's advandced in his muscle development as well. He's mastered rolling over from back to front, can almost sit up unassisted, has been successfully eating baby foods- carrots, sweet potatoes, rice cereal and bananas (so far), and continues to bring a smile to his Mommy's face every morning when he looks at me with a big bright smile too. :)

It's truley amazing how much a baby can complete you. I met my "right" husband, was blessed with the gift of 3 totally wonderful and growing little girls, and now to have this child we share together is completely astonishing.

Also, for anyone who was following my best friend's story....baby Alena is thriving! She has reached 3lbs 6oz as of Sunday. She is no longer on any alerts other then her pulso oximeter and her heart monitor. She was moved to a step down unit in the NICU and will more and likely be going home within just the next few weeks. My best friend is doing so well and is learning more and more to be a Mommy!!

Keeping Alena in my prayers that she'll be home soon.  I'm glad to hear she's steadily gaining weight and getting stronger.

Holly...that was one evening after we came home from swimming and he laid himself out and was completely zonked...for about 20 mins lol

Thank you for the prayers. She weighed in at 3lbs 9.5oz yesterday. The doctor told my friend that once she reaches around 4.5lbs and can hold her own temp in bed for 24 hours...she will be released to come home :) YAY!
