OB appointment today was not encouraging

So I'm 11 weeks and I went in for my appointment. They could not find a heartbeat.  The doctor is going to have me make an appointment for another ultrasound to see what it sees. 

I have no signs currently of miscarriage but I am an older woman and my risk is high.  I just needed a place to relieve my thoughts.

I will make the ultrasound appointment in the morning.  I hope they make it for Friday or early next week cause its going to make me in 'survival' mode till I know for sure.

Send positive energy my way.  I need it.

did they try with just the doppler? i wish you luck.

Same thing happened to me, but my doc knew I would just worry and was able to make an appointment for me the same day at the hospital. Baby was fine, just hard to find. Sending thoughts your way and hoping you don't have to wait too long. When making the appointment, tell them reason. That may speed things up.

Oh and my OB Never even tried for the HB on the dopplar  until 12 weeks and then it was super hard to find.

Thats bizarre that they didn't do it the same day. My doctor has an ultrasound room in his office.

OMG I will def pray for you and your precious baby....I'm so sorry you had this scare....  :(

I sure hope that baby was just hiding. I'd definately call and ask for an appointment immediately. You can't be worrying about this for days.
