Birth Control Options ?

Hello Ladies,
I am looking for some info regarding Birth control and what options are best for RNY'ers. Any info would be great, thank you !!

I had an IUD and loved it.

anything but the pill really.... i used the nuvaring- i liked the ease of it.. just put it in for 3 weeks.. take it out for a week... he couldnt feel it during sex... and neither did i... there is always the iud option... and of course condoms... they make quite a few otc things like films, sponges, creams and inserts....

iud worked for me lol

IDK... being lesbian seems to work for me! LOLOL

 That literally made me LOL. Stupid sperms! 

Thank you ladies, I am thinking about the patch, I have some issues with inserting anything where the sun don't shine ........ so for me this might be better. Thanks for the info !!!

I dont qualify for an IUD as I havent had any babies. A friend of mine had one and hated it, but she seems to be the only one, as on here people love it, and my gyn says theyre really popular.

I have had no problem with Nuva Ring, BUT I understand your hesitation, my friends get all weirded out when I tell them about it.....I love the convenience and I cant feel a thing, neither can my man

I have heard that the patch can give you heavier periods (just from friends....NOT scientific proof).

There are a lot of storied about WLS patients taking the pill religiously and getting pregnant, so I would agree to steer clear of that option
