Need Prayers and Peace
So, after my 21 puncture holed hernia repair laparotomy on the june 15th,, i'm healing and coming back to life... Been struggling with infertility for a year, while surgeon was in, he saw both fallopian tubes and ovaries fused to my uterus... pinpointed that to old inflamation due to chronic UTI's right after we got married... So,, long story short,, a gynocologist is willing to do surgery this saturday in hopes to disadhere them and get them floating again.. I know this is way early after my first surgery, but he's willing and i'm a kinda get it out of the way all at once kinda girl so i can go back to work and not have to plan another surgery soon... I had dropped off my surgical pics at my normal gyn office to keep her posted on my situation and i got this alarming call from her. This is after i was told by my hernia surgeon that the new gyn surgeon is a master surgeon. my regular gyn doc had great concern in her voice and said the gyn surgeon has a reputation for doing unneccesary surgeries,, she advised me to wait and maybe even go with IVF, So this gets my feathers ruffled... my husband googles the gyno surgeon, but what looks like people are unhappy with is that he kinda pushes c sections and doesn't have great bedside manner. I'm a nurse myself, and i know some surgeons are just like this. I also know i am not picking him to deliver my baby, but to give me a laporotomy and fix my girl parts.. I know that a possible complication could be re-adherence.. but would i kick myself later if i don't try this while i have a chance? I'm praying God opens doors He needs to if it's supposed to happen.
Praying you find some answers and an outcome that allows you to have children! It's true, some of the best Drs don't have great bedside manner but they get it done. My gyno's partner is like that! She's not the best with bedside manner but in an emergency situation she took great care of me.

thanks everyone,, been tough healing from 2 surgeries at once, but God is good, i am alive and i'm healing.. I've also got a knight in shining armor for a husband :) I went ahead with the surgery,, i have a c-section like incision, and the surgeon got rid of the adhesions and aparently cauterized some endometriosis spots (that was a surprise that i didn't know i had). Anyway, i'm healing and on the road back to normal life.. I'm at peace with all that happened.. and know i can try normally to ttc soon.. I am tempted to get back on the fertility meds soon, but me and my husband have talked and think trying naturally may be the best thing to do for about the first 2 months or so... who knows,,, maybe everything will float right and do what it's designed to do on it's own :) So, i'm excited and will try to keep ya'll posted :) sandy
