This is my 1st pregnancy after WLS. I feel the baby move alot more this time. This is my 3rd pregnancy too. However, when I had the twins I didnt feel them until like 20-22 weeks. I have been feeling this baby since 10 weeks. Also my belly sounds like a rock band in there. Does you stomach still do this? Compared to your other pregnancy's has this one been more complicated for you?

Can anyone tell me how to uplood  a pic for my id? LOL

You can upload a pic under the "My Account" tab at the top.

I had my twins pre-WLS. I felt them move around 15 weeks and had a very complicated pregnancy. Not sure if it was because of my weight (330) or just because I had multiples, but I had all kinds of aches and pains, pre-e, sciatic pain, edema, etc. It was rough. They were born at 30 wks due to pre-e.

With my son, post WLS and minus 130 lbs, pregnancy was a breeze. I felt him move about 12 wks and had zero complications. He was a VBAC, born on his acutal due date.

That's good to know. I was wondering if she will be born on her due date. My 1st was born on his due date and the twins at 37 weeks.

I had my twins after WLS, but the pregnancy was much better than my first pre-WLS- I think losing the weight and just overall level of fitness had a lot to do with it. My pre-WLS pregnancy was much more complicated- my daughter was low birth weight at 39 weeks after lots of bedrest. My twins were born at 36 weeks at 6 lbs11oz and 5 lbs11 oz with zero complications.

As to feeling the baby early, I have felt my pregnancies really early. I felt my daughter at 11 weeks (When I was still 120 lbs heavier) but my twins I felt at 9 weeks. I think that varies by person, but if you feel them then that's awesome! I was always glad I could feel them early because I was always super paranoid. Now that you've lost weight it may make it easier. Or, where they implant also matters too as well as the formation of the placenta, etc.

If you can feel the baby, then I would say things are great!!! It is true that you can have complications from WLS, like vitamin deficiencies and the like. Just form a good partnership with your OB and your surgeon, stay curious and ask questions, and follow through with recommendations and your chances of having a great pregnancy will skyrocket.
