mucous plug question #2

 hey ladies. i was just wondering if the doctor will tell me whether i lost it completely or not. there has been ALOT out the last couple of days, i know it doesnt mean that labour is going to happen soon but i am just curious if that is something they can tell or not when they do an exam?

well, it depends on what color it is. You lose your mucous plug all the time, some comes out as the "old pushes it down". may sound gross but hey its to be expected. =)
As for your question, YES they can tell if you have started to lose to a point...thats where the whole -2, fully effaced/thinned out/intake, hard/soft..effaced part is referring to your mucus plug..
