Jealous

So I dropped off my son this morning at a local VBS and ran into a friend who is two weeks ahead of me in here pregnancy---she is about 11 weeks and I'm 9 weeks along. Let me tell you she has a recognizable baby bump!!! I walked away so jealous because she's got this perfect little round tummy and mine, well.....after losing so much weight it will be a great day when my two rolls become one! With my son, 7 years ago, I was so heavy that it was wayyyy late in my pregnancy before you could tell I was even pregnant and now I wonder with this one when my belly will pop out!

 I completely understand.  After losing 130lbs, I have all this skin that just hung there. I'm now 22 weeks and my bump is starting to pop out.  I stil have two bellies, one above and one below my belly button.  I hope mine rounds out soon.

22 Weeks and you still have the two bumps, huh? I've lost 180 lbs total so I may be in for a long hall on this one waiting to look pregnant again!

Don't be jealous! At 9 or 11 weeks what you're noticing is just bloating anyway. Maybe she's gained a little more weight than you (if any) or maybe your abdominal muscles are stronger. She may *only* be 2 weeks further along than you, but alot is happening with baby / body in the 1st trimester! It'll all happen in due time and i'd bet you'll have a beautiful baby bump before you know it.

I had people blink in surprise that suddenly I was pregnant and they could tell. I was 37ish weeks... Yeah. I was not pleased. And then they only thought I was maybe 5 months along. I had to work to have any bump show at 8 months plus. Before that no one could tell.
