Some common terms:

TTC - trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN - big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD - the day of your menstrual cycle
O - ovulation
DPO - days past ovulation
LP - luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF - aunt flow ( your period)
PG - pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE - reproductive endocrinologist
OPK - ovulation prediction kit
CL - coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met - metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD - baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD - doing the deed
IUI - inter uterine insemination
IVF - in vitro fertilization
PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS - pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW - two week wait...time from ovulation until you can test for pg

CD50  here,yes 50, and starting to show some color for AF to arrive, nothing but BFN's this LONG cycle.  Have gained 20 lbs in the last 3-4 months from stress and my very bad addiction to ICE CAPS....Darn Tim Hortons!!!  I am cutting them out cold turkey and have started walking 3.5 miles 2x a day.  Hopefully things will get better and my cycles will get back on track and a sticky pregnacy to follow shortly. 

OK UPDATE:
AF arrived today(Sunday)after a long 51 day cycle  WOOT WOOT onto the next cycle!!!

Okay, we are now officially trying!
1 year mark for surgery is in 3 days...
I ovulated early this month, really weird, but at least I am getting a +opk...
never have before these past few months...PCOS is a B****
Off to see the doc. on the 29 and hopefully get some ultrasound pictures
to see how my fibroid cyst on my right ovary (Orlando) is doing.

We are mow in our 2ww! Biting my nails, hoping and praying this month is it! It does nothing for my nerves! I've done everything, followed every advise and haven't had any luck so I'm beyond frustrated but hopeful that it'll happen soon! I'm dreading POAS because of the looming let down I've gotten far to many times! Praying God works miracles for all of us struggling to get our BFP! Sending lots of baby dust and well wishes to all who are TTC and congrats to those who got their BFPs!!

CD19 here no sign of ovualtion yet... Seeing the RE on Thursday.
