Was watching a baby story and felt bad for the lady

The lady on a baby story today had a daughter 13. and one little one and was in labour. When the lady said to the nurse she had one 13, the nurse actually had the nerve to say "what heppenned?"  The lady was cool about it however and just saud, New husband. but really?..come on. Most families these days are blended famlies and it's barely the norm for people to be on their first marriage etc...Just sayin
