Update on myself about my gallbladder issue

So for the past month I was in and out of the hospital for gallbladder problems.  Well Monday the 6th I was in a lot of pain, went in to L+D cuz thats what my OB told me to do, and the baby was fine for my pain wasn't going away with pain meds.  Wednesday a doctor who works with my surgeon who did my bypass and I decided at 2pm my gallbladder was to come out while I was 31weeks pregnant.  I was so scared that when I woke up my baby was gonna be in the NICU... But all went well and my lil girl is still cooking. I would like to add this doctor managed to do this laproscopicaly and not open as well... totally thrilled by this. So I went home Thursday and I was doing great. Friday night I was rushed back to the ER and then to L+D  was watched closely with lots of pain meds in L+D til Saturday evening... I was moved into a room and kept on lots of meds. The doc's kept ultra sounding where my GB once sat to make sure I didnt have blood or bile just sitting in there.  After a few more days of rest and lots of meds I was finally able to come home yesterday. I am doing great and so is baby. My cervix is still 4.5cm long and not dilated at all. my baby's lungs are considered fully developed now cuz I was givin the shots to strengthen them in case of pre term labor. The doc said I had a mixture of gas buildup from the gas they put in me during surgery and just needed more time to heal and rest. He said everyone is different and the baby being so active didn't help the pain I was in. This has been the worst month of my life but I am so greatful everything turned out alright. Just wanted to update for anyone who was interested...

I'm glad everything went well.  I know you were doing your best to put up with it until your little girl was here, but being in that much pain...yeah, you needed to get rid of it.

thanks, yea it was bad. The doc told my mom,dad, and hubby that my gallbladder was so bad, and no wonder I was in so much pain. It was so scary having surgery while pregnant but it all went well.

Wow that is scary. I almost was in the same situation but have been lucky and not have any other major attacks while I was pregnant.

I'm glad to hear that all is well. Sorry you had to go through that though.
