What do I pack in hospital bags for me and baby?
I'm a first time mom and new to this whole process so I'm not sure what to take to the hospital....
I do plan on breastfeeding but I'm worried she won't want too... I have a going home outfit for her but it's a 0-3 months and looks kinda big although if I go the full 40 weeks dr thinks she'll be around 8 lbs! EEK!
So what do I take for the baby? Other than a going home outfit, I'm not sure what to take! lol

I learned its best to have two different size outfits to take them home unless your baby is like mine and didnt fit anything that was in the closet. My daughter fit premi clothes which nobody buys for showers. Also if your hospital offers hospital pics take an outfit for that. Otherwise the hospital should provide dipers and a shirt and blanket for baby to be in while in the hospital. Shell be here b4 u know it.
For me I packed:
Comfy shirts
Stretch pants
Going home undies
Nursing bra
Nursing pads
Robe
Slippers
Travel size: shampoo, soap, toothpaste
Brush
Chap stick
Phone
Camera
Charges
Baby:
Couple outfits
Blanket
Call ahead to find out what hospital provides because not all provide stuff like shampoo plus sometimes it can be harsh.
Oh I had c-sections so I was in for 4 & 5 days so I brought my own pillow.
Comfy outfit for you to come home in.

I brought all the standard toiletries for me, an outfit for baby, slippers or flip flops, and way more clothes than I'd need for myself, lol. However, I brought comfy pants/ t-shirt type outfits for me to wear and I ended up having an unplanned c-section so I really couldn't wear any of those. I ended up borrowing nightgowns from my mom for my stay in the hospital. Those plus a good robe were basically my staples. The hospital provides you with these weird nylon-like undies while you're there, but you'll need a pair to wear home. I pretty much just wear bikini style so these were also a problem with my c-section. I had to send my mom out to buy me some "granny panties" so that they would come up over my incision. I know none of us want to think about the possibility of a c-section (I sure didn't) but I really wish I had been more prepared for it (both physically and mentally). Good luck!
