Update- Baby Alena arrived

Thank you all again for your continued prayers! Baby Alena Faith entered the world at 8:54 this morning. I unfortunately didn't make it to the hospital until around 10, but none the less, she is born and is thriving. She weighed 2lbs 6oz and is breathing successfully on her own. She's in the NICU at one of the best hospitals in the area, so she is in terrific hands :) Mommy is doing fantastic as well and we hugged and cried together! Keep those prayers coming because baby has a long road ahead, but so far so good YAY!!! Thanks so much again :)

Great news! Praying that they both continue to do well and baby wont need to be in NICU for a long time!

Sorry you missed the big event, but glad that you're there with your friend. Praying Alena gains weight quickly - and stays healthy and strong w/o set backs - so she can go home soon.

Congrats on Baby Alena!!!!!! She is so tiny!!! but sounds like a fighter, I was that little when I was born and that was in 1980 and technology and the med field has come a long way since then so I know she will do GREAT!!!!! Hope everything continues being fantastic!!!!:)
