just had 35 week ultrasound
I had ultrasounds every week from week 31 to 38. When I was 36 wks 6 days, they estimated her weight at 6lbs 6 oz. She was born at 38 wks and 4 days and weighed 6lbs 13 oz.......so it was right on target. They did tell me that it was an estimation only and it she could be up to 15 oz heavier/lighter. That's just one ounce shy of a pound! But in my case, it was pretty much right.

I had an u/s done at 36 weeks and baby measured 6.4 lbs at the time. I gave birth one week later and my son was 5.4 lbs so they were off by 1 lb. Thankfully, he is doing ok despite being a bit tiny when he was born.
I had an ultrasound a few days before my daughter was born, they thought she'd be about 8.5 to 9lbs, this was consistent with the sizes they'd predicted all along (I had a lot of ultrasounds). She was 6lbs 3oz at birth... guess they were off by more than the +-1lb that they said to expect. The weird thing is that all the ultrasounds were done by different people at different places... guess she just looked bigger inside!
my OB did one yesterday and another a month ago to see if baby was growing as she had a laady who also had WLS and measured good had good U/S and good blood work but delievered a slb baby But thinking doing measuring with a tape measure like they do in office really accurate either iss it because it could be the size oof my uterus and fluid not neceSsarily baby and if US accurate within a pound or two kinda crappy too guess have to wait and seee right
