Biophysical ultrasound yesterday

Sometimes my dr's office frustrates me, lol.  I saw my dr on Thursday the 26th and they called in (well sent it electronically) a prescription for a UTI.  Went to pick it up on Friday and Wal-Mart didn't have it.  Called the dr back and they told me a nurse would call it in by the end of the day.  Called WalMart on Saturday and they still didn't have it.  Had to call on Tuesday because of the holiday and they then couldn't even find the order.  Finally found it and called it in.  Had to wait 5 days for it.  I had an appointment yesterday to have a biophysical ultrasound (was supposed to be monitored in L&D also but that was never scheduled).  The xray department had to call my dr's office 4 times to get the order.  Still didn't have it when I was in there so the sonographer called them when I was in her room and finally got the order.  They never even wrote on the order why they wanted me to do this and I still don't know.  I think since my dr is a resident and really doesn't have any experience with RNY patients and then add the pregnancy, I think they were worried since I have not gained any weight really.  I started at 251 in October, got down to 238 and I am now back up to 251.  Oh, well.

But the ultrasound was good.  She told me the biophysical score was perfect.  Baby boy is fine.  He's head down.  I was 35 weeks 4 days yesterday.  Measuring a bit over 37 weeks.  Said he weighs 7 1/2 lbs give or take a lb.  So hopefully this will ease my dr's mind.

OY!  Your doc sure sounds like a winner!  NOT!  But so glad to hear that ur baby boy is doing very well.  Not much longer Girlie!
