First Steps
Today I called to schedule my regular OB appt. This will be my first conversation with my OB about family planning. I am 13 monoths post op and still have to wait another 5 months before they will let me start trying, but I want to start looking into it now. Kaiser has you wait 18 months minimum... and now *recommend* 24 months. I am 37 years old, I am not waiting 24 months :X.
I am sooo excited I could just squeal!
Next medical step: regulate my non-existent period - it stopped 6 months ago. I suspect it is due to the rapid weight loss and the amount of exercise I get.
Next financial step: Start the process with NW Cryobank to start purchasing/storing vials to use for insemination. Donor already decided upon - so long as his sperm is still available.
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
This will be my first child. oh boy scary and exciting!

Hey girl! very exciting! Ur OB will have no probs regulating ur cycles. It's a process and since you're only 5 months away from the 18 min... and the OB needs to get you regular first, I'm sure they'll start you on that right away. It's a very exciting journey and one where we get to learn patience. I guess we'll need that once we have our babies, huh?!
