Went to the ER yesterday...bleeding

Hey Gals~
TMI but wanted to share my struggle, since you all are such great support!

I woke up at 6:30 and began the day not making
it to the toilet from all the bleeding, through and out of the pad...
thinking I was okay I continued to start my day, cleaned the kitchen,
had a cup of coffee and realized I had gone through several pads...withing 2
hours. I went to take a shower and was standing there and it was just pouring
out. I screamed for my Mom and she suggested to go to the ER. I thought I
would be okay and said I would wait a little bit longer. I went through another
pad and realized she may be right. I called my Midwife and she said to go
if I was filling a pad an hour; I was! So, my husband took me and they said;
I was just having a rough period! Gees, like I did not realize that! The doctor said, that
since my blood levels looked okay; I was okay! They only gave me fluids and drew blood. No ultrasound, no vaginal exam...
Could it just be a cyst busting?
Could it just be the end of my uterus?

If I continue to bleed this badly I will call me midwife and get in to see her.

Were you supposed to get your period? Take some extra iron to make sure you don't get anemic :(

I had horrible horrible period before I had Isabella. I would bleed through a heavy pad and tampon in less than hour. Bur that was the norm for me if you don't bless that that I would call your OB ASAP. You know your body and bleeding heavy isn't good.

My period was like this the last 2 months the Mirena was in; had it taken out in Feb!

were you possibly pregnant? I had one like that too. mine was a missed MC,

 Have you been checked for uterine fibroids? This is the kind of bleeding my mom used to have when she had fibroids. I remember sitting with her at dinner one evening (at home thankfully) and I got up to get something and realized she had soaked through her pad and it was just running off the chair onto the floor and she just hadn't noticed yet. It's pretty miserable.
